4" Mini Blue Stripe Roller

This Mini Roller is made on 17mm diameter thermally bonded, acetone resistant core.

Made from 13mm pile 100% polyamide fibres woven into its backing. The fibres are thermotreated to give them a 'crimped' effect which helps the fibres pick up, hold and distribute the maximum amount of material. In addition the backing of this high end fabric is treated to reduce even further the possibility of fibre loss in use.

4" Jumbo Blue Stripe Roller

This Jumbo Mini Roller is made on 30mm diameter thermally bonded, acetone resistant core. Almost twice the diameter of a standard mini roller for faster working.

Made from 13mm high 100% polyamide fibres woven into its backing. The fibres are thermotreated to give them a 'crimped' effect which helps the fibres pick up, hold and distribute the maximum amount of material. In addition the backing of this high end fabric is treated to reduce even further the possibility of fibre loss in use.

4" Mohair Refill

This Mini Roller is made on 17mm diameter thermally bonded, acetone resistant core.

Made from 100% pure new wool this 4mm pile height fabric is a premium woven fabric specially designed for the application of gel coat.

Very low fibre loss, combined with its pale cream colour and dense pure wool fibres, makes this our top recommendation.

6" Blue Stripe Roller

This Roller is made on 38mm (1.1/2") diameter, polypropylene thermally bonded, acetone resistant core.

Made from 100% polyamide fibres woven into its backing.

6" Dakota Roller

This Roller is made on 38mm (1.1/2") diameter, polypropylene thermally bonded, acetone resistant core.

Made from a velvet like very short pile polyester fibre, woven into its backing for strength. (It is possible to weave very short pile polyester fibre but in the case of long 22mm Polipile polyester fabric, this has to be knitted).

6" & 7" Lambswool Roller

This Roller is made on 38mm (1.1/2") diameter, polypropylene thermally bonded, acetone resistant core.

Made from 22mm pile pale cream polyester fibres knitted into its backing. (Long 22mm Polipile polyester fibre has to be knitted, whereas, very short pile polyester fibre - such as our Dakota, can be woven).

Because long pile polyester fibres are in themselves less strong than nylons they can be knitted but not woven.

The knitting fixes the fibres less securely than weaving, so some fibre loss is to be expected.

We try to eliminate the effect of fibre loss by producing the fabric only in pale cream to help minimize the visual impact of any loose fibres in the finished work.

7" & 10" Blue Stripe Roller

This Roller is made on 48mm diameter, polypropylene thermally bonded, acetone resistant core.

Available with 15mm pile. Made from 100% polyamide fibres, woven into its backing.

The fibres are thermotreated to give them a 'crimped' effect which helps the fibres pick up, hold and distribute the maximum amount of material.

In addition the backing of this high end fabric is treated to reduce even further the possibility of fibre loss in use.
